Subject: Implementation of the guidelines framed by the AICTE/ UGC to Regulate Internal Complaint Committee in Institutions.
The Principal or Head of the Institution/ Department shall obtain an undertaking from every employee of the institution including teaching and non–teaching members of staff contract labor employed in the premises either for running the canteen or as watch and ward staff or for cleaning or maintenance of the buildings/lawns etc. that he/she would report promptly any case of any complaint which comes to his /her notice. A provision has been made in the service rules for issuing certificates of appreciation to such members of the staff who report ragging which will form a part of their service record.

ICC Committee meeting was called at Gurukul College For Excellence, on 01/12/23
Following actions supposed by the committee member, are taken to prevail ICC activities inside and outside the campus
1. Continuous monitoring of ICC students and campus related to awareness by the team involving teaching staff and non-teaching staff.
2. More interaction and involvement of senior ICC students awareness activities.
3. Teachers taking classes in the first year are instructed not to leave the class until the next class teacher enters the class.
4. Continuous and close monitoring of the ICC Committee student’s activities on a college campus and in the classroom.
5. Regular interaction with the ICC committee members with first-semester students to solve their quarries and other problem.
6. Interacting sessions like Pharmacy Week, teacher's day, sports meet, guest lectures, workshops & seminars will be organized regularly to improve coordination & interaction between teachers with seniors and junior students.
7. Senior students will be given the opportunity to interact with juniors only after approval by the principal/Director in the presence of any responsible teacher.
8. In case of any reported ragging cases the responsible students will be punished with a fine of 500/- along with one week's suspension from regular classes. They will be given a showcase notice by the ICC committee and asked to present in front of the paneling body with their guardian.
9. Strict vigilance will be maintained by all the staff in the bus stand, canteens, etc. near the college and places where the seniors have a possible chance to mix with their juniors.
10. Outsiders will be not allowed on the college premises without permission.
